Policy Editing, Smart Contract Warnings, and UX Improvements
Edit existing policies, get warned about recently modified contracts, and enjoy clearer copy across the app.
Edit Policies
You can now edit existing policies without having to delete and recreate them. When a policy edit is proposed, approvers see a detailed summary showing exactly what changed — name, conditions, signers, or cooldown — with clear “Added,” “Removed,” and “Changed” indicators. Edits go through the same multi-party approval flow as policy creation.
Smart Contract Security Warnings
When signing a transaction that involves a smart contract that was recently added or modified, a warning banner now appears on the transaction analysis screen. This prompts you to verify the contract details on the dashboard before approving.
Policy Improvements
- Cooldown descriptions are now clearer. Instead of the generic “this policy won’t apply again until the cooldown expires,” it now reads something like “After use, reverts to 2 approvals for 24 hours.”
- The vault name is now displayed on the policy summary screen when reviewing a policy on mobile.
- Policy edit pending actions now appear in the pending actions list on both dashboard and mobile.
Improved Invitation Flow
- A banner now appears at the top of the dashboard when you have pending organization invitations, with a link to view them.
- There’s a dedicated invitation acceptance page where you can accept or decline invitations, with clear error handling for expired, wrong-account, or missing invitations.
- A confirmation dialog now appears when changing an organization member’s role.
- Fixed an issue where invitations couldn’t be resent when the organization was at the user limit.
Terminology and Copy Updates
- “Organization,” “vault,” and “wallet” terminology is now more consistent across the dashboard and mobile app.
- The vault creation welcome screen now explains what a vault is: “A vault holds your wallets and controls who can approve transactions.”
- The onboarding screen now explains the Tholos hierarchy (Organization > Vault > Wallets).
Contracts Table
The smart contracts table on the dashboard now shows “Created” and “Last Modified” columns.
Updated Documentation Links
Help and documentation links throughout the dashboard and mobile app now point to the new docs site at tholos.app/docs.
